About
Somebody actually
opened the links.
You have already read three gift guides today where half the links were dead, one product was discontinued in 2023, and the prices were from whenever the post was written.
Why This Exists
Gift guides are the easiest content on the internet to fake. Pull a list from somewhere, paste in affiliate links, never check any of it again. It ranks anyway, which is why so much of it exists and why so little of it is useful.
The fix is not clever, it is just boring work. Open every link. Check the price band. Check it still ships. Do it again before the season.
How Picks Get Chosen
Everything gets opened and checked before it goes in, and prices are given as a band rather than an exact figure, because an exact figure is wrong within a week and pretending otherwise is how those other guides ended up useless.
Where shipping time matters, and in December it always does, it gets flagged. Nothing is included because it pays well, and things that pay nothing go in whenever they are the right answer.
What You Will Not Find Here
- Products that stopped being sold years ago
- Fake "was" prices to make a discount look bigger
- Fifty items when eight would do
- Anything nobody bothered to click
Who Writes It
Kevin Gabeci. I am the person who leaves it late every year, which is roughly the qualification required.
